We are actively seeking our first round of advertisers for both in-show and website ads.
The West Seattle Show will be a regular 5-to10-minute video “picture show” presented on this here website and promoted thoroughly throughout West Seattle. It will also be posted and promoted elsewhere on the internet as well, including sites like YouTube, Revver, Digg and many others.
It is being Produced by two West Seattle natives and long-time friends:
- Scott Schaefer, three-time National Emmy Award winning Writer for “Bill Nye the Science Guy” with over 21 years’ experience as a Writer, Producer and Director in TV/video, multimedia, marketing, advertising, technology and the internet. His credits also include six years in Hollywood, where he worked on “The Late Show” (Fox), “Totally Hidden Video” (Fox), “The Arsenio Hall Show” (Paramount), “Sightings” (Paramount) and numerous other productions. He got his start at Seattle’s own “Almost Live!” (KING-TV) in the ’80s, where he won six Northwest Emmy Awards.
- Mark Neuman, TV Host, Marketer, Writer and Producer and long-time friend of Scott’s. Mark has the chops, knowledge and passion to Host, and has vast experience in marketing and advertising. A former Journalist for the West Seattle Herald, Mark is an excellent interviewer, marketer and has a deep passion for learning more about West Seattle.
You will probably see us around with our Panasonic DVX100B camera, doing man-on-the-street interviews in the Junction, profiling interesting businesses and places, doing stylistic re-creations of weird WS mysteries and crimes, and much much more…
